What will your mission be?
As Sales Manager, your mission is to expand Protix's market footprint by acquiring, retaining, and growing strategic customer accounts. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver on customer expectations while ensuring our solutions support a more sustainable food system. Your role combines operational sales activities with a tactical approach focused on long-term commercial success and customer satisfaction.
What will be your responsibilities?
· Coordinate and perform sales activities at both operational and tactical levels.
· Own a specific market or region to drive customer acquisition and growth.
· Build strong partnerships with key customers to secure long-term business success.
· Deliver actionable insights on sales data, advising on strategy and market opportunities.
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery.
· Drive commercial excellence by improving sales processes and models.
· Coach and support junior sales team members.
· Represent Protix in customer meetings and industry engagements.
Who are you?
· Proven ability to manage strategic customer accounts and close deals.
· Commercially sharp with a strong customer-first mindset.
· A natural communicator, fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
· At least 5 years of experience in a commercial B2B environment, preferably in Food, Feed, or Ingredients.
· HBO (BSc) or MSc degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
· Structured, analytical thinker with strong project and time management skills.
· Open, adaptable, and entrepreneurial personality.
· Able to work independently and influence key stakeholders.
· Willingness to travel to meet international customer needs.
· Affinity with sustainability and the agrifood sector.
