What will your mission be?

As a Purchaser at Protix, your mission is to be the backbone of our supply chain success. You will be entrusted with the important task of sourcing high-quality materials and negotiating favourable terms with suppliers so that our production lines can run smoothly and efficiently. With your eye for detail and strategic thinking, you will ensure cost-saving initiatives, optimise inventory levels and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.

What will be your responsibilities?

Manage procurement processes for feedstock; by which we mean the feed for our insects, and other essential materials.
Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
Monitoring market trends and identifying new suppliers.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand and fulfil procurement needs.
Contribute to cost savings and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Who are you?

Affinity with the by-product market and food waste is a plus but not a requirement.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar procurement role.
Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
Excellent communication skills, both in Dutch and English.
Proactive, solution-oriented and able to work in a dynamic environment.
Interest in sustainable and innovative solutions within the food industry.

Wat zal jouw missie zijn?

Als inkoper bij Protix is het jouw missie om de steunpilaar te zijn van ons succes in de supply chain. Aan jou wordt de belangrijke taak toevertrouwd om materialen van hoge kwaliteit in te kopen en te onderhandelen met leveranciers over gunstige voorwaarden zodat onze productielijnen soepel en efficiënt kunnen draaien. Met jouw oog voor detail en strategische denkwijze zorg je voor kostenbesparende initiatieven, optimaliseer je de voorraadniveaus en onderhoud je sterke relaties met leveranciers.

Wat zijn jouw verantwoordelijkheden?

Beheren van inkoopprocessen voor feedstock; waarmee we het voer voor onze insecten bedoelen, en andere essentiële materialen.
Onderhouden van relaties met leveranciers en onderhandelen over contracten.
Monitoren van markttrends en identificeren van nieuwe leveranciers.
Samenwerken met interne teams om inkoopbehoeften te begrijpen en te vervullen.
Bijdragen aan kostenbesparingen en procesverbeteringen.
Zorgen voor naleving van inkoopbeleid en -procedures.

Wie ben jij?

Affiniteit met de bijproductenmarkt en voedselverspilling is een pré, maar geen vereiste.
Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare inkoopfunctie.
Sterke onderhandelingsvaardigheden en een commercieel inzicht.
Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden, zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels.
Proactief, oplossingsgericht en in staat om in een dynamische omgeving te werken.
Interesse in duurzame en innovatieve oplossingen binnen de voedingsindustrie.
