What will your mission be?
As a Project Lead Electrical Instrumentation & Automation you will be part of a multidisciplinary project team. Protix has plans to build new facilities in Poland and USA and further optimize its existing production facility in Bergen op Zoom (NL). As such the project portfolio is a mix of large greenfield projects and smaller brownfield projects. You will be responsible from conceptual design until a successful handover to operations and will be able to set the standards in a relatively new industry. You will work closely together with other discipline leads, operations, engineering contractors and take accountability for successful project delivery. It is a great opportunity to work on a one-of-a-kind projects within a rapidly growing industry.
What will be your responsibilities?
As our Project Lead Electrical Instrumentation & Automation your main responsibility is to deliver successful projects. You will have following responsibilities:
- Lead efforts to ensure projects stay on track within budget and schedule, while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaboratively establish project timelines, distribute tasks, and define responsibilities for a collective approach to leadership.
- Foster collaborative relationships with suppliers, carefully assessing technical bids to optimize project outcomes.
- Work closely with Engineering Contractors, ensuring alignment with project goals and milestones.
- Take ownership of essential EIA deliverables, including Electrical Design Basis, Instrument Indices, Cable Layouts, and Functional Design Specifications.
- Play a key role in overseeing the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) processes, facilitating a smooth project handover.
- Act as a knowledgeable resource for Electrical & Instrumentation matters, providing valuable insights and expertise.
- Contribute to the development of new industry standards and guidelines in the field of Electrical & Instrumentation.
